Former Neighbors star Jesse Spencer married his longtime girlfriend, research scientist Kali Woodruff, in a private ceremony.
The Australian actor, 41, who stars in Chicago Fire, revealed the happy news to The Daily Telegraph on Wednesday and called the couple’s special day their ‘2020 honor’.
The intimate ceremony took place on June 27 to celebrate Mr. and Mrs. Kali’s wedding anniversary in their hometown of Neptune Beach, Florida.
“Despite a COVID spike, a change of location, a Saharan dust plume, not to mention a torrential thunderstorm, we crossed the line on our wedding day,” Jesse told the publication. and I’m a very lucky man.”
“What a blessing for 2020. She is smart, beautiful and much ahead of her age,” he added proudly about his new wife.
‘Used to be very happy. She has been my anchor in every storm and we are so excited to move on to the next phase of our lives.’
Melbourne-born Jesse started dating Kali after meeting her at a Chicago music festival in 2014.
