The America’s Got Talent judge lived in “constant fear” at his Kensington home – which he just sold for $19 million after just 4 days of listing.


Simon Cowell has sold his luxury Kensington, London mansion for $19 million just days after it went on the market.

The America’s Got Talent judge lives at the house with his wife Lauren Silverman and their son Eric, but he fears for his safety after multiple break-ins, including the theft of valuable jewelry. 1.3 million USD in 2015.

The sale of the six-bedroom Georgian-style apartment was first reported by newspapers, including The Guardian.


The America’s Got Talent judge’s time living in the house was marred by burglaries and attempted break-ins.

In 2015, a thief broke in and stole about $1.3 million worth of jewelry, leaving Simon Cowell “constantly afraid” for his safety. The court heard the case in 2017.

The Press Association reported that in 2012, a woman holding a broken brick broke into the house while Simon Cowell was home, and the woman was later arrested.


In June 2023, Simon Cowell was alerted to a plot to break into his home using a key decoder. According to reports, the incident was led by Simon Cowell’s former security advisers.


According to People Magazine, after selling this mansion, Simon Cowell is living in the English countryside.
